This document explains how to copy and paste a scenario from one workspace to another. This feature makes it easy to move scenarios between different workspaces.
Prerequisites
💡 Important: This operation must be performed by a user with administrator privileges for the workspace.
Steps to copy a scenario between workspaces
First, open the workspace that contains the scenario you want to copy.
Select one or more scenarios you wish to copy.
Click the "Copy" button that appears at the bottom of the screen.
Next, move to the workspace where you want to paste the scenarios.
Click "Paste Here" at the top of the screen.
The selected scenarios will be pasted into the new workspace.
Notes
Differences between duplication and copying
If you want to duplicate a scenario within the same workspace, it is recommended to use the "Duplicate" function. This will maintain settings such as workspace variables and shared groups.
On the other hand, when you "Copy" between workspaces, workspace variables and shared groups are not carried over. This is because they are tied to a specific workspace.
The original scenario is not deleted
This operation does not delete the scenario from the original workspace; it merely creates a copy in the new workspace. The original scenario remains in its original location.
Pasting into a directory
In the new workspace, if you navigate to a specific directory and then click "Paste Here," you can paste the scenarios directly into that directory.
Labels are also carried over
When you copy and paste, any labels attached to the scenarios are also carried over.
Handling existing scenarios
If a scenario with the same name already exists in the destination workspace, a dialog will appear asking you to choose whether to overwrite the existing scenario or skip it.
Time required for copying
Please note that when copying multiple scenarios at once, it may take some time to complete.
