How to get direct sharing links for scenarios

Overview

This article explains how to get a sharing link that allows direct access to a specific scenario or its specific version. By sharing the acquired link with other members, you can smoothly guide them to the scenario.

Prerequisites

• Connected to a remote workspace.

• Have access to the workspace where the target scenario exists.

Steps

There are two ways to get a sharing link for a scenario:

Getting the link from the scenario screen

Use this method when you want to get a link for a specific version.

1. Open the target scenario.

2. To get a link for a specific version, select the target version from the version drop-down at the bottom of the screen. (This step is not necessary if you are getting a link for the latest version.)

3. Click Copy link next to the scenario name.

4. The message "Link copied to clipboard" will appear on the screen, and the link will be copied.

Getting the link from the scenario list

If you always want to get a link for the latest version, you can easily do so from the list screen.

1. Open the scenario list screen.

2. Click Copy link at the right end of the target scenario row.

3. The message "Link copied to clipboard" will appear on the screen, and the link will be copied.

Notes

• The user opening the sharing link must also have access to the target workspace. If they do not have access or if the scenario has been deleted, an error message saying "Failed to open the link" will be displayed.

• Copy link is only displayed when connected to a remote workspace.

• Opening the sharing link will launch the Autify Nexus desktop app and directly display the scenario. If you open a link for a specific version, it will be displayed in read-only mode.
