# The test remains in the running state

## Issue

When running a scenario locally in a remote workspace, if the application is forcibly terminated (for example, due to an OS update), the test status may remain **Running** and fail to complete. (Even though the status shows "Running," the test is not actually executing.)

In this case, you can cancel the corresponding test execution.

## Solution

Select the corresponding test and click the **Cancel** button.

If not canceled, the status will automatically change to **Abandoned** 24 hours after the test started.
