This feature is exclusive to test plans on remote workspaces.
Scheduled execution uses a cloud execution environment. Therefore, you cannot set a schedule for a test plan that only uses a local execution environment.
By setting a schedule in the test plan, tests will be executed automatically at the specified time.
Adding a Schedule to a Test Plan
You can add a schedule in the test plan settings.
From the Test Plan List screen, click on the test plan you want to schedule.
Scroll down to Schedule section, then click "Add" button on it
If there are no cloud execution environments in the execution environment, you cannot add a schedule. Please add a cloud execution environment first
Configure the repetition unit and start time.
Repeats: Select the frequency for the test plan to run, either "Daily" or "Weekly."
Day of the Week: This option appears when you select "Weekly" for the repetition unit. Select one or more days of the week to run the test on.
Start Time: Set the start time in 30-minute increments.
Time Zone: Set the time zone for the scheduled execution. This setting determines when your test is scheduled to run. This setting does not affect the time zone used by the browser during the actual test execution.
By default, the time zone is set to the local time zone of your system (PC).
If you want to change the time zone that the browser uses during a test run, please set the Timezone setting in the Test Plan itself.
Next Run: This displays the next scheduled execution date and time based on your settings.
Click "Add."
Following these steps, your test plan will automatically run according to the schedule you set.
You can edit an existing schedule by clicking the Edit () button or delete it by clicking the Delete (
) button.
Important Note: Deleting a Cloud Execution Environment from a Scheduled Test Plan
If you try to delete all cloud execution environments from a test plan that already has a schedule set, a confirmation dialog will appear.
Please be aware that this action will also delete all associated schedules. If you wish to delete the cloud execution environments and all schedules, proceed with this operation.
Setting several schedules
It is possible to set several schedules, for instance if you wish to run the test more than once per day.
Just create additional schedules with different start times.
