This allows you to test the target server without changing the public DNS records. ## Prerequisites - You must be logged in to Autify Nexus and have the target workspace open. - You must know the IPv4 address of the target server, and the server must be reachable from the test execution environment over the internet. - You must select Chrome or Edge as the browser for test execution. ## Setup procedure The steps to register a custom hostname and run a test are as follows: 1. Click **Workspace resources** in the navigation bar. 2. Click the **Custom hostnames** tab. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/c040854c-2c75-49d0-98e1-43f462e8657e/Images/Documentation/スクリーンショット 2026-09-15 15.55.19.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-08T17%3A07%3A37Z&se=2026-11-08T18%3A07%3A37Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=iTe5btJxNRfGUTJZwBhj0WEk3zYG4DXFqqEtFGiYxMI%3D) 3. Click **New custom hostname**. 4. In the **Create custom hostname** dialog, enter the following required items: - **Hostname**: Enter the hostname to access in the test (e.g., `shop.example.com`). - **IP address**: Enter the destination IPv4 address (e.g., `203.0.113.10`). 5. Click **Create**. 6. Confirm that the registered hostname and IP address are displayed in the list. ## Test execution procedure using a custom hostname 1. Prepare a scenario or test plan whose target URL matches the registered **Hostname**. 2. Select **Chrome** or **Edge** in the execution environment and run the test. ## Notes - A maximum of 100 custom hostnames can be registered per workspace. - Only IPv4 addresses are supported. Unreachable addresses, such as IPv6 or private IPs, cannot be registered. - Custom hostnames only apply to test executions on Chrome and Edge. They do not apply to test executions on Firefox and WebKit. - They do not apply during test recording or during playback in the Editor. - Custom hostname settings are applied when the test execution is added to the queue. Changes made after the execution has been queued do not affect that execution.
