Creating a test plan

There are two ways to create a test plan in Autify Nexus — from the Scenarios window or the Test Plans window. This document describes how to create test plans from either window.

Creating test plans from the Scenarios window

You can create both static and dynamic test plans from the Scenarios window.

Static test plans

1. Check the checkbox for each scenario that you want to include in your test plan

2. Click Create test plan at the top-right and select Create from selected scenarios

3. Enter the name of your test plan and click Create

Dynamic test plans

1. Specify the conditions by using the search field, applying labels, or specifying directories to filter your scenarios

2. Click Create test plan at the top-right and select Create from filter

3. Enter the name of your test plan and click Create

Creating test plans from the Test Plan window

Creating a new test plan from the Test Plan window creates an empty, static test plan by default. You can add scenarios or convert it to a dynamic test plan after creation. See configuring a test plan for more information.

On the Test Plan window:

1. Click Create new at the top-right of the page

2. Enter the name of your test plan and click Create
