Bulk edit scenarios using AI

Prev Next

This article explains the feature that allows you to bulk edit scenarios using AI.

This feature automatically generates proposed changes for each scenario by providing instructions in natural language for multiple scenarios. The generated changes are displayed as a preview beforehand, allowing you to review the content and apply them safely.

Prerequisites

To use this feature, the following conditions must be met:

  • AI functions must be enabled in your workspace

  • The license for the bulk edit with AI feature must be enabled

Step-by-step guide

  1. Open Scenarios and select the checkboxes for the scenarios you want to edit.

  2. Click Bulk edit with AI displayed on the action bar at the top of the screen.

3. The Bulk edit screen appears. In the input field, enter the edits you want to make in natural language. (e.g., "Add a 3-second sleep after each Navigate step", "Set the VRT threshold to 5% for all steps")
4. Click Submit or press the Enter key.
5. Once the AI analysis is complete, the Interpreted content (how the AI understood your instructions) and the Preview (the changes for each scenario) are displayed on the screen.

6. Carefully review the content in the Preview to ensure that the expected changes are proposed. Scenarios with changes will display Will be modified, while scenarios with no differences will display No match.
7. If there are no issues with the content, click Apply.
8. A message indicating that the update is complete will appear on the screen, and the changes will be saved.

Important notes

  • Checking the preview is required

The AI's proposals may not always be exactly as intended. Before you click Apply, be sure to review the differences in the preview screen.

  • Regarding bulk undo

There is no feature to undo the changes in bulk after clicking Apply. To revert to the original state, you must manually edit each scenario using the standard features.

  • Limitations on editable targets

Steps included within Step Groups cannot be edited by the AI. Additionally, some specific actions may not be editable by the AI.

  • Regarding processing time

If a large number of scenarios are selected, it may take time for the AI to load and analyze them.
